What Is “The Zone”?
The flow state is where all of you is moving in the same direction, without any internal resistance stopping you from moving in that direction.
Most of the internal resistance comes from the subconscious mind and getting into the flow state is much more about having your subconscious aligned, clearing your limiting beliefs, emotional themes and lack of confidence.
Having your subconscious mind being aligned with your goal, is absolutely crucial for reaching peak performance, and this is where Chris comes in. Testing the subconscious mind, finding and clearing these subconscious blocks are his speciality!
These two contradictions between your subconscious and conscious mind result in a resistance, continuously limiting you from performing at your peak or reaching those goals.
Whatever your sport, you need to ensure that your subconscious mind is entirely aligned, knowing what you want and making sure it is parallel to your conscious goals and desires. So, How Do We Get Into “The Zone”
The best way to get into this flow state, is to ensure your subconscious mind is in alignment with your conscious goals. Eliminate those fears, self-doubts and limiting beliefs that you are not good enough or not better than your opponent.

Apart from the mindset, one needs to ensure their physical body is in alignment as well. Avoiding foods that you are intolerant to and ones that drain your body of energy , will help you enter a state of flow fully since it is incredibly difficult to achieve fully, otherwise.
The physiology of your body encounters resistance, quite similar to your mindset, but these can often manifest more physically. For example, you may encounter inflammation or digestive difficulties with foods that your body cannot correctly process. The negative physiological responses your body encounters can completely drain your body of it’s energy. It switches off the stress response and is only draining you, not fuelling you!
At the end of the day….
The absolute KEY is to make sure that subconsciously, you are in alignment with what you want to do. That is a peak state of consciousness.
However, DON’T forget your physiology! That blood sugar balance, the right foods and a happy, healthy physiology is the second part of the puzzle to getting fully in the zone!
