Too often one gets flooded by information from the media about all these incredible fitness fads, diets, training programs and supplements that one can take to get the physique you want, to increase your performance or to be better and stronger.
There are millions of images & videos that show us these incredible athletic performances, crazy training programs and people who can perform incredible feats of strength. These “influencers” start promoting all sorts of ideas, programs, teas, products… you name it!
The problem here is that it entices you into spending money on something that you believe will give you the boost you have been waiting for and quite often, one never sees the results as either the product/ supplement is a money making gimmick, or the training program requires a lot more work behind the scenes to get the desired result.
Athletes often get despondent when they start to plateau in their training and eventually start looking around for better equipment, better trainers, better supplements and literally anything that will push them through this rut.
But how often are they actually subconsciously holding themselves back? Sure, physiologically everyone has limitations in what they are able to do. Not everyone is going to be able to run like Usain Bolt, but quite often we are limited from reaching our true potential by our very own subconscious mind.
So let’s talk about the three essentials you need to push you out of this rut, and actually get those positive changes you have been searching for.
Number 1: You need to sort out your negative stress based emotions.
If you have a theme of negative emotions, you are chained to the past and it is incredibly hard to move forward on all levels.
Self-doubt, worrying, lack of confidence, lack of belief, uncertainty, insecurity, anger, resentment & fear are all the negative emotions that need to be dealt with.
The effects it has on you are more than you realise, both within your physiology, your health & your subconscious mind. These are negative themes that are learned from the past, they are conditioned responses that you have been taught to believe and feel and these themes don’t allow you to move forward.
Number 2: Your subconscious limiting belief systems
All the chemistry from your mother’s thoughts with you still in utero actually have influences on you before you even come into the world. After that, your early years are the years that leave such dramatic imprints on who you are, how you think and how you feel.
Whatever your environment was like while growing up, such as your culture, social status, your friends, your parents and the school you went to, all have such a huge impact on you as a person.
Deep down, our belief systems about who we are, what we believe we can achieve, what we believe we deserve are conditioned into us. It is so essential to have a look at what you believe and whether you believe deep down whether you deserve to reap the benefits of these changes you are trying to make.
Inevitably, if you have subconscious limiting beliefs, they will heavily impact how you view the world and your position in it.
Number 3: You need the energy!
Without energy, it is very hard to clear your emotions and to clear your limiting beliefs. Without energy everyday, it is going to be a huge challenge for you to get up everyday and make those changes happen.
The most optimistic mindset in the world will only get you so far, since being tired & fatigued will keep holding you back from making those changes and it will always feel like hard work to make them happen.
