Our whole body, from your muscular system to every organ, is held together by a connective tissue called Fascia. It holds the whole body together & if you were to take away this connective tissue, your body would just collapse into a heap on the floor!
Throughout the whole network of the body, the fascia wraps around everything.
In essence, it is like your whole body is held together by an electronic circuit board.
When researchers looked at this fascia, they noticed that the molecules that build this fascia are crystalline & these molecules are receivers of energy & information. Hence they have named this fascia, “The Living Matrix”.
What is now being realised, is that every single thought and feeling you have is not just something that stays in the head, it is received by the body in electromagnetic energy or pulses of energy that flow through the entire fascia system.
Every thought and feeling you have, your body is aware of instantaneously. Thoughts & feelings are therefore body wide phenomena.
It is worth starting to think about how your thoughts – both conscious & subconscious -, your day-to-day beliefs about yourself & your dominant emotions you have, effect your entire body on a molecular level.
Should they be more stressed based, every single cell of your body is being stressed, over worked & sent negative signals. It works in the same way with positive, motivated thoughts having a positive, energising effect on your body on a molecular level.
This goes without saying that as athletes lead incredibly demanding lifestyles, it is so important to keep both your subconscious and conscious minds, clear of all these negative thoughts & emotions. The ENTIRE body needs to be working TOGETHER in order to reach your Peak Performance, in order to smash those goals and ultimately, to prevent any injury that would hinder your progress towards said goals.
Once one realises how much influence these thoughts and emotions have on their body, it becomes clear how important is is it to ensure that our subconscious mind is working towards the same goals as our conscious mind.
“All of us have our own inner fears, beliefs, opinions. These inner assumptions rule and govern our lives. A suggestion has no power in and of itself. its power arises from the fact that you accept it mentally.”
